Come a Long Way - chords, tab and comments

At the bottom you'll find a link to the complete lyrics.

Kate McGarrigle wrote this song to her divorced husband Loudon Wainwright III, and he responded by being the first one to record it - "Attempted Mustache"(1973). Kate and Anna rounded up the album "Dancer with Bruised Knees" with it 4 years later.
Sure they've come a long way, the McGarrigle/Wainwright clan. Kate left us early January 2010 as a victim of cancer, but the offspring Rufus and Martha Wainwright have inherited their parent's skills. Anna is still going strong, and elder sister Jane is getting more involved. The clan tours in various combinations, involving each other in various projects.
