"KHAWAGA ALBUM"

Khawaga Album - an overflow?

khawaga.jpg I KNOW there are hundreds of pages featuring lyrics and tabs around, so what's the point of building just another one? Well, "Khawaga Album" has no real purpose except being a backup for my personal songbook ...

This is a collection of songs I've been picking and singing for five decades. Originally they were a pile of stained paper sheets from an old Remington Portable. In the mid-eightees I turned them into DOC-files, then converted them to Pagemaker files, only realizing they occupied an incredible lot of space. So I discarded the fancy formatting, and made them plain text files. Then I discovered that HTML more or less ARE plain text files, and left them with my ISP where they are sheltered against theft, fire, accidentally deletion or bloody computer crashes.

All the songs have chords and comments on their own page, available from the bottom of the lyrics page - together with a link to a clever chords' site and a link to a site about who really wrote the song, if it exists. Some technical stuff is stored away HERE. Have a nice time!
