Lyrics without distraction HERE

1976 saw Loudon Wainwright III as a rock musician. First of January, the Arista album "T-shirt" was released, produced by John Lissauer, and it strictly differed from the folk singer and songwriter's earlier five albums. The timing wasn't good: the wotld had just gone punk, and this attempt to go rock fell between two chairs. But as the years have passed, that album has gained respect for it's strong material and production.

I've picked out a rarity which - as far as I know - nobody else have recorded, and I've never heard anybody else perform it. Very simple, and very typical for Loudon's ironic and humouristic attitude to life and any situation.

And what else? For myself, I can only say "been there; done that".
