Shelter from the Storm - guitar chords and comments

Lyrics without distraction HERE

1975 album "Blood on the Tracks" - in my opinion Dylans's best production ever, which is not peanuts - is entirely written and recorded in D open tuning, influenced by Irish folk musician Paul Brady. Playing nylon string, this tuning trick sounds disgusting, as well as my voice sounds disgusting singing D major. Thus my humble transition and conversion. Play it medley with "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go" : these are among the best love songs ever written.
G Gmaj7 C G
twas in another lifetime one of toil and blood
                      Bm C D7sus4
when blackness was a virtue and the road was full of mud
   G Gmaj7 C D7sus4
I came in from the wilderness a creature void of form
