Anniversary Message

KHAWAGA ALBUM is, now writing September 2025, 25 years old. It was built much earlier, but kept private.

In the autumn 2000 it got its own domain, and went public to share lyrics, chords, history and comments with other buskers and people interested in roots music.

Twice it has been refurbished, still keeping the old fashioned look. But the internet is changing all the time, and who could know, 25 years ago, that people should be walking around with the net in their pocket, navigating with a fingertip?

I decided a final makeover last year, and that was tough shit. There were dead links everywhere, wrong information, missing information and bugs of almost any kind. I merged the lyrics and tabs to one single file, and coded the design responsive. I'm never gonna do this one more time, only fixing errors and adding new songs - because I'm still, 70 years old, digging roots.

Now, I need and deserve a beer. Happy buskin'!
