Swedish based but norwegian born Ane Brun (née Ane Brunvoll, Molde, Norway) had her international breakthrough with the 2005-album "A Temporary Dive", featuring this song. Peter Gabriel payed attention to her strong, intensive voice and modest stage performance, and invited her to do Kate Bush's part of "Don't Give Up" ... this leading to several tours with Gabriel, until health issues (suffering from Lupus) forced her to turn the dampers down. But she has released more albums, performs regularily and is personally ranked high among the best female voices ever. As a songwriter, she's easily recognized because of her special harmonies and guitar picking style.
